Why should I join the Newsday Advisory Panel?
The
Newsday Advisory Panel gives you the chance to share your views and
opinions on a number of issues, including Newsday itself. But you also
have the chance to win prizes including cash and gifts such as iPods,
digital cameras or Blackberries.
How
do I join the Newsday Advisory
Panel?
Joining
is simple. All you need to do is answer a few questions which allows
us to deliver surveys to you. We do not advertise on the Newsday Advisory
Panel site nor do we release your name or other contact information
to third parties. Membership in the research panel is absolutely free
and survey participation is voluntary.
How
do I know if I'm registered for the panel?
Once
you complete the short survey you will receive an e-mail that confirms
your panel membership.
Will
I start getting unwanted SPAM and pop-ups if I join the panel?
No.
As a panel member your information is kept confidential. The only e-mails
you will receive once joining will be survey invitations and occasional
panel notices.
How
do I know if I won?
Winners
will be notified via e-mail within four to six weeks after the close
of a survey. For a list of winners please visit our winners
page.
How
many surveys should I expect to receive?
You
may be asked to take part in a short survey no more frequently than
once a month.
How
do I know if you received my survey?
If
you get a page that says "survey has been submitted" we have received
your survey. You may only complete each survey once, so please do not
try to complete it again.
What
happens to my survey responses and personal information?
All
survey responses will be held in the strictest confidence and your personal
information will never be shared. Your answers will be combined with
the answers of other members and only reported in total. For more questions
